a labour of love

HOMESCHOOL
Mom.

Teaching my son at home is the most intentional thing I do as a mother. We don't raise children for a desk — we raise independent thinkers, one lived experience at a time.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Sharp minds over worn-down pencils.

We don't study animals through paper tests; we visit zoos and farms. We don't learn about the stars through quizzes; we discover them at museums and under the open sky.

Nature is a more powerful teacher than any textbook, and lived experience outweighs any multiple-choice exam. New skills are built through extracurriculars — and the library, entirely free, holds more than any curriculum package ever could.

We are not raising children for a desk. We are raising independent thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and future entrepreneurs.

"A child's first teacher is their parent. Your grandmother's legendary cooking never came from a culinary degree — so what makes you think you're not capable of teaching your own child?"

Time to Actually Live

Traditional schooling leaves children either starved of extracurricular time or burnt out trying to fit it all in. The one-on-one nature of homeschooling requires far less formal instruction — freeing up meaningful time for activities, family, and rest.

Books Over Screens

The library is free and holds infinite knowledge — yet kids today are drowning in video games. We fight the current: screen time is limited, and books are everywhere in our home.
